What we store on your device
Nothing. storebay.co.uk is a static marketing site: it has no sign-in, no basket, and no server-side session, so it has no reason to set a cookie. We verified this directly — browsing the site sets zero cookies and writes nothing to local or session storage.
Our analytics is Fathom Analytics, which we chose specifically because it is cookieless. It counts page views in aggregate and does not set a cookie, build a profile of you, fingerprint your device, or track you across other websites. Under PECR reg. 6 that means no consent is required, and under UK GDPR there is no personal data for us to hold about your visit.
The StoreBay product is different — app.storebay.co.uk and portal.storebay.co.uk do set a strictly necessary session cookie once you sign in, because they cannot keep you signed in otherwise. That is covered where you sign in, not here.
Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that sets no cookies and stores no personal data. It aggregates visits without a client identifier, so it needs no consent under PECR or the UK GDPR. We do not run Google Analytics, session replay, or any remarketing pixel.
If this ever changes
The moment we add any non-essential cookie or identifier — for example a different analytics tool, session replay, or a remarketing pixel — we will ask first. A compliant consent banner, a settings control, and an updated cookie table will ship in the same change, and the new tag will not load before you consent.
