COMPARISON · AS OF 2026-07-31

The UK-native alternative to Storeganise.

The short answer

Storeganise is a capable international platform with a genuine strength in valet storage and a published starting price. StoreBay is narrower on purpose: UK-only, with Bacs Direct Debit and storage licence agreements modelled properly, unlimited sites at no extra cost, and a published formula rather than a starting figure. If you run valet storage or operate outside the UK, pick Storeganise.

02 / The core difference

A starting price, or the whole formula

Both platforms publish something, which already puts them ahead of most of this market. The difference is how far the publishing goes.

A starting price tells you the floor. A formula tells you the answer at your own size — and, more usefully, what happens when you grow. Because Storeganise prices on locations as well as units, a second site changes the bill; on StoreBay it does not, because sites and seats are unlimited and only the total unit count moves the number. Whether that matters depends entirely on whether you expect to open another location.

StoreBay’s published price is £63/month +VAT including the first 50 units, then £0.48 per unit per month above that. You can work out your exact bill before speaking to anyone.

03 / Where Storeganise wins

Three reasons to choose them instead

A comparison that concedes nothing is not a comparison. These are real, and two of them are decisive if they apply to you.

Valet and on-demand storage

Storeganise runs valet storage as a first-class product, not an afterthought, and its own case studies feature valet operators scaling city by city. StoreBay does not offer valet at all. If collection-and-delivery is part of your model, this is not a close call.

Operating outside the UK

Storeganise sells internationally and prices in USD, AUD, GBP and EUR. StoreBay is deliberately UK-first — UK data residency, Bacs Direct Debit, storage licence agreements, UK VAT. If your sites are outside the UK, StoreBay is the wrong tool and Storeganise is built for that reach.

Trying it before talking to anyone

Storeganise offers a self-serve free trial. StoreBay does not — we onboard operators through a demo and a guided migration instead. That is a genuine difference in how you can evaluate, and if you want to click around unaccompanied first, theirs is the model that allows it.

04 / Migrating from Storeganise

A guided move, not a rebuild

Export your data and our team handles the mapping alongside you.

There is no dedicated one-click Storeganise importer, so we map your fields with you from a clean export — units, customers and live agreements. Payment mandates need their own plan. Our guide to switching storage software walks through what to expect.

Comparison based on Storeganise’s publicly available information as of 2026-07-31. We publish only figures reproducible on their own public calculator.

05 / FAQ

Common questions

Storeganise publishes a pricing calculator with a currency toggle, and with it set to GBP the starting price is £80 per month. The figure moves with two inputs — how many locations you run and how many units you have in total — and enterprise pricing is by quote rather than published. Captured 2026-07-31; check the current figure for your own numbers on their calculator.
