01 / Integrations
Connect StoreBay to your whole stack.
Payments, accounting, access control, comms, identity and analytics — plus an open API to build anything we don’t ship yet.
02 / By category
Payments
The rails that actually collect the licence fee. Bacs Direct Debit is the sensible default for a recurring charge — a mandate does not expire the way a card does, and it costs less per collection — while cards cover the instant first payment at move-in and customers who will not sign a mandate. What matters in an integration is not that the logo appears, but whether failures, retries and refunds are modelled properly: a Direct Debit can be reversed weeks after it looked settled, and software that treats "collected" as final will quietly misreport your arrears.
Stripe
Card payments + Connect payouts to operators.
GoCardless
Bacs Direct Debit collection & mandates — the default recurring rail.
Accounting
Storage generates a high volume of small, repeating invoices, which is exactly the shape of bookkeeping that eats an afternoon a week when it is done by hand. A real accounting integration pushes invoices, payments and credit notes across with the right dates and VAT treatment, and reconciles what actually landed in the bank — not just a CSV you import and correct.
Xero
Native two-way accounting sync.
QuickBooks
Native two-way accounting sync.
Access control
This is where storage software stops being admin and starts being operations. When access is wired to the agreement, a move-in grants entry without anyone visiting the gate, a move-out revokes it, and an unresolved arrears case restricts it on a schedule you set once. We orchestrate rather than manufacture: the hardware stays the vendor’s, and the software layer keeps credentials tracking the agreement.
Nokē
Smart-entry credentials + access events.
BearBox
Smart-entry / site controllers.
PTI Cloud
PTI StorLogix Cloud access control.
OpenTech
OpenTech INSOMNIAC access control.
Paxton
Paxton Net2, via a per-site bridge.
Comms
Email and SMS are not a nice-to-have in UK storage — they are a compliance surface. Bacs requires advance notice before every collection, and the Consumer Contracts Regulations require pre-contract information on a durable medium. Both are delivery obligations, which is why the messaging layer has to be reliable and auditable rather than best-effort.
Resend
Transactional email delivery.
Bird (MessageBird)
SMS delivery.
Identity
Identity checks matter at the edges: high-value units, business accounts, and any case heading toward disposal of goods, where you need to show who you dealt with. Keeping this in the platform means the evidence sits with the agreement rather than in somebody’s inbox.
Stripe Identity
Optional identity-document verification (KYC).
Analytics
Occupancy, revenue and arrears across every site, in one view. The test of a reporting integration is whether it answers the questions you actually ask — which sites are filling, which unit sizes earn most per square foot, how much is overdue and for how long — rather than exporting a spreadsheet you then rebuild by hand.
Fathom Analytics
Cookieless, privacy-first site analytics.
Developer
The open API, webhooks and a sandbox — included rather than reserved for a higher tier. This is the category that determines whether the other six are a ceiling or a floor: if the platform ships an API, anything it does not integrate with natively becomes something you or a developer can build, and your data stays portable.
Public REST API
HMAC-signed webhooks, OAuth2, and a sandbox — included in every plan.
