Direct Debits go through your own GoCardless account, and cards through your own Stripe or Global Payments account. Nothing we build adds a fee to either: the only money StoreBay takes is its own monthly bill.
It’s worth checking on your own numbers. On £28,900 a month collected, every 0.1% added to processing is £28.90 a month. Ask your current supplier what they add.

Questions about the price.
Count every lettable unit at every site, let or empty: that’s the number. Every unit you have set up in StoreBay counts, including one that’s out of use for repairs, and we take the count once a month. Past your first 50, each is 48p +VAT a month.
Yes. All StoreBay SaaS pricing is B2B, shown ex-VAT. VAT is added at the prevailing rate.
Not on monthly pricing. Cancel any time and it ends at the end of that month. Annual pricing is a 12-month commitment, and that’s what the lower rates pay for.
It follows your units and nothing else: 48p +VAT a month for each unit over your first 50. Another site, another member of staff, another report: none of them cost anything, and there is no bigger plan to move up to. New units show on the next month’s bill. Sell or close a site, remove its units, and they come off your next month’s bill. An empty unit still counts while it is set up, because it is still on your floor plan, in your reports and bookable online.
Sites never enter the sum: the bill counts units. An operator with one site and 120 units pays £96.60 +VAT a month; three sites and 360 units, £211.80 +VAT; eight sites and 900 units, £471 +VAT; twenty sites and 2,400 units, £1,191 +VAT. On annual pricing, a 12-month commitment invoiced monthly, the same four come to £80 +VAT, £176 +VAT, £392 +VAT and £992 +VAT a month. The calculator at the top of this page gives the figure for your own count.
Whatever your payment provider charges you, and nothing on top. Direct Debits go through your own GoCardless account, and cards through your own Stripe or Global Payments account, and StoreBay takes no cut.
No. Setting you up, and moving your data across from your current system, are part of the plan. You pay nothing until you’re live. We bring your customers, units and agreements across, and you see a preview of every import before anything is saved. Saved card details and Direct Debit instructions are handled separately, and we plan that part with you.
We email you and try the payment again. Nothing is switched off automatically, and your customers keep paying you in the meantime: their payments go to your accounts, not ours.
Reports, invoices and payments download as spreadsheets whenever you like.
Email support from our UK team, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, and we reply within one working day. It costs nothing extra: there is no paid support tier.
A 12-month commitment with about two months off the year: the base fee drops to £52 +VAT a month, and each unit over the first 50 to 40p +VAT. You’re still invoiced monthly.
