StoreBay publishes its price, with a calculator that prices up to 20,000 units. We found no price list on Storman’s website: it quotes on request.
Bacs Direct Debit in your own account
StoreBay collects Bacs Direct Debit through your own GoCardless account. Storman’s UK site offers Direct Debit through Storman Payment Services, without naming the UK scheme.
Where Storman is stronger
A named list of access partners
Storman’s UK site lists seven access partners, including Paxton, Nokē and PTI, to lock out overdue customers and let them back in once they’ve paid.
A REST API now
Storman offers a RESTful API for connecting your website, apps and other tools to Storman Cloud. StoreBay’s API and webhooks are included in the plan.
Conversions from named systems
Storman says it can convert from Stora, Space Manager, Syrasoft, SiteLink, Winsen and many other packages.
Over 30 years in self storage
Storman started in New Zealand in 1992, moved to Australia in 1997 and opened its first UK office 10 years later. It’s an Approved Industry Supplier of the SSA UK.

Storman offers live chat in business hours, a support portal open 24/7, and email or phone support depending on your region. StoreBay’s support is by email.

Storman’s UK terms continue month to month after the first term your Quote states, and either side can end them at the end of a term with at least 30 days’ written notice. Check your Quote for the first term before you switch.

Storman doesn’t publish prices on its website: it quotes on request. StoreBay’s price is published: £63 a month for 50 units and £519 for 1,000, plus VAT, with every site included.
Yes, at setup: we connect StoreBay to the system you run. Your rule decides when a unit is overlocked. Storman’s UK site lists seven access partners working today, including Paxton, Nokē and PTI.

StoreBay keeps its primary data in DigitalOcean’s London data centre. Storman’s UK website says its data is “hosted locally”, in “locally managed data centers”, without naming the location. Its privacy policy says the personal information it holds “may be hosted on a cloud service within Australia”, and its UK terms list the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, and other territories, as places personal data may be processed.
Yes. Storman started in New Zealand in 1992 and is rated 4.4 from 9 reviews on Capterra UK, checked 13 October 2026. StoreBay is new and has no public reviews yet.
Not yet. StoreBay has no independent security certification or audit report today. Storman’s UK site says Storman Payment Services is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
